Has anyone watched a series of a language other than English and gotten hooked on to it?

Some Korean dramas, some Russian, but the best is French. They make some great TV shows and movies.

In Thailand now. Next up Tanzania and Philippines.

There's a site that offers unlimited free streaming for most Asian series. So yes, I have watched a lot tv series other than English that I've gotten nuts about.

La Casa de Papel was the most recent one for me. Ages ago, though, I couldn't stop watching Coffee Prince.

Yeah keep the Spanish recommendations coming! It would definitely help me to get hooked on a series. I was watching El Tiempo Entre Costuras with a friend of mine who was learning Spanish and she got pretty into it.

Viki has a lot of free shows, but the free version is terrible due to ad interruptions. Same with Dramafever.

kiss asian .sh --streaming is free, just choose your preferred video host. The ads mostly pop up only once and mostly at the beginning of each episode and they run not more than a minute. The downside is the poor translation, some subtitles are not really accurate. You just have to listen carefully and watch the scenes intently in order to make the lines make sense. They do change their domain from time to time.

Okay, now I'm having second thoughts about watching on free sites. I'm really big on not having my viewing experience interrupted by anything. I guess I'll stick to my Netflix and maybe revive my iFlix account too.

Agreed. Netflix or iFlix is way way better than free streaming sites.
